SONY has launched its smartphone Xperia C3  for Indian users . Featuring a staggering 5 MP front camera with an80 degree field of view, the device lets you take selfies by just double tapping the back cover. The front camera also has HDR mode and comes with Sony’s intelligent scene recognition that automatically adjusts settings based on lighting conditions.

With a 5.5-inch 720p display, this handset features an 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, dual-SIM connectivity, quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 8 MP rear camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity along with a 2500 mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. With dimensions of 156.2 x 78.7 x 7.6 mm and overall weight of 149.7 g.

The Xperia C3 is quite slimmer and  comes with dedicated camera apps like AR effect, which allows you to add animations to your images and videos, and Portrait retouch, for retouching your images within some clicks and touches. Sony has announced that The Xperia C3 will be available in black, white and mint color in India, with officially starting to sell from September 1 across offline and online channels.

Sony has set a price tag ₹ 23,990 (approx $395).  Sony’s  Xperia C3 is the second mid-ranger from Sony to be available in the country after the manufacturer launched the Xperia T3 in the country last month . The 7 mm thick Xperia T3 is available for around ₹ 25,000.
